I'm fine with chase cards and powerful cards. The game-play I dislike are early game cards that do 80+ damage and can tank multiple hits (basic and stage 1 EX). I should add Starmie to this list too.

Thoughts on upping retreat cost or removing retreat as an option for EX pokemon as a balance option? The two point "balancing" seems like a moot point when you can completely dominate early game with these EX and then retreat once they are threatened. Mewtwo EX is a big offender for this.
