Go to a bench and all present Pokémon nearby will be reset, but shiny Pokémon don't despawn from what I've heard. There's a bench near the rooftop of Zone 18 that makes it "easy" to shiny hunt all the Pokémon there. Spam A and hold down the left stick on that bench and you can kind of AFK shiny hunt. A turbo controller that auto-mashes a button and a rubber band to hold down the left stick and you can do it fully AFK, leave it in the background while you actually do something fun and you'll eventually get an effortless shiny.

I'm trying to do this manually while I draw. It's not fun. The Fennekin is still yellow.

You wait and catch them later. They don't despawn.

I still don't understand fully. I've beaten Ange a while ago if that's what you mean, and I've caught every Pokémon near its remains.

I keep seeing Alpha Fennekin and it breaks my heart not being able to catch them, because if I did I'd then have to wait for a few minutes for it to respawn so I can continue my shiny hunt. I hope I get that shiny soon.
