Migrated Player -- Battle Pass

Hello everyone. I migrated my TCGO account to LIVE this morning, just slightly before the TCGO app was to become unavailable. Considering that the Premium Battle Pass expires in three days, I take it that it doesn't make much sense for me to purchase one now. If anyone would care to confirm my thinking on this, please do so. Thank you.

Well you get the gardevoir deck which is really good if you don’t already have it. Also the first few tiers have a considerable amount of packs which you could get in these last few days. Just make sure you have enough crystals for the next pass too

When going in to look at the Battle Pass, I see that there is the option to pay more Crystals in order to unlock the first 15 tiers, which is helpful. With 600 Crystals for the first Tier versus 1,800 Crystals for the first fifteen Tiers, the latter sounds like a good option to me. I made sure to maximize Crystals via the migration, so I should be set for the next pass, too.

Unless you really want the cards in those tiers, I wouldn't recommend it. Up to you for this pass though. For the next pass and every one going forward though, definitely never get the expensive one. That's an extra 20 days' worth of crystals spent on what will take you 15 days or less through normal play.

Mostly agreeing with techohog here.

Usually you shouldn’t buy the 1800 crystal pass because you can just play to get those tiers later but in this case the pass will expire soon.

There are 26 packs from tier 1 to 15. This makes it so you are effectively paying 70 crystals for each pack which is good value compared to the 200 crystals per pack in the shop. So if you are looking for packs then I guess you can get some for good value before the pass expires (Plus some crystals, coins, and V’s.)

Thanks again FatCatz, and thank you TechHog. Seems like I had a lot of Crystals (12,400 to be exact), and purchasing the first fifteen Tiers didn't seem like a bother right now, given the short length of time left in this Battle Pass cycle (and the excessive maintenance time today). After the tutorial, I played one game and lost it by not having a Pokémon on my bench to play when my active one got knocked out, so I guess I need a lot of help in getting started in this version of the game!
