Why are you reducing the guaranteed rate for code cards instead of removing energies from boosters

As it reads in the title, why is that you are not removing the energy cards altogether from booster packs instead of reducing the guaranteed draw rate of the TGC Live QR code card? One of the biggest motivations for me to get back into collecting physical cards was finally adopting the silver-borders from the Japanese-language cards along with the QR codes being available with each pack as I can't find anyone near me to play the physical game but can always login to TGC Live (previously Online) where i can craft with the credit i earn thanks to the duplicate cards i get from the digital packs.

@DoubleCure I think what the OP might be saying is they don't like that the next irl expansion will no longer include a guaranteed Pokémon TCG Live QR code, instead of removing energy cards.

The Pokémon TCG's official Twitter released a statement a few days ago saying that the text is wrong and that ALL packs will still have a code card in it.

As to WHY the text was written in that way I have a feeling that TPCi was flouting the idea of packs not having a guaranteed code card but pulled back on it at last minute due, more than likely from potential bad PR (ignoring that all the chaos from poorly-managed restocks is still present today).

Yeah, I would totally believe this being their way of seeing what we thought about that plan without actually committing to it.
