If anything they might try to go at a flying type eeveelution again since we know that they were planning to do that for generation 7

They were? I think the whole thing with the Eeveelutions was that they're supposed to align with the special types and flying is a physical type. So that's why Soareon from my series has to be obtained when Eevee is holding a new item called the "Physical Band".

I believe there will be a new eveelution, but I think it should be a Poison type to make it a pair with Sylveon.

Now I feel like I should make designs for Eeveelutions of all the remaining types (not counting bug, flying, and dragon since I already did those 3, 2/3 are part of my fanseries)
