The last person I played with I destroyed his pokemon card but the same card that I destroyed attacked me still

Does "destroyed his Pokemon card" mean you did enough damage to knock it out and take a prize card? Or are you saying you did more than enough damage but it remained in play because of a bug? You might want to add some more details.

You can have up to four copies of a card in your deck so they probably just had multiple or got it back from the discard pile
