Why do you think the replaced Ash in the pokemon anime

My guess could be due to the weird logic behind Ash’s inability to age. Could also be because he’s just been overdone and having a new and interesting character would be better.

I don't think they could've gotten much more story out of him anymore without it starting to feel repetitive. Plus, changing him gives the writers more freedom to write the stories they actually want to write about for new regions and characters.

theres more negatives then positives to keep him

This.
People complained about the Pokémon anime being repetitive during the Johto arc. Twenty years of the same story with the same main character can't have improved things.
You don't want the things you like to last forever. It is better that they reinvent themselves or simply end on a high note. Otherwise they stagnate and degrade. Arguably the Pokémon games suffer from this to a degree.

Because he is the new Monarch and World Champion of the Pokémon World Coronation Series. What else is there for him to do?

They might Give Ash a break need to decide what to do if he returns.

It could be because they simply decided they just wanted to focus on a whole other character and storyline, rather than Ash starting all over in a new region again.

Liko has character building! Ash is just an overconfident train wreck!

@HGemini93 True. Ash need a vacation. However, what Ash needs is some sort of big situation that will knock down his ego starting with breaking out of the forever 10 paradox.

@MajorBrendan Hmm, then perhaps he should enlist help from Dialga…
