My new game on scratch called Unimon
im thinking of making more games but does this infringe copyright? my designs are original and there are original types.

Nintendo don't own monster capturing games. Pokémon wasn't even the first one. Look at a lot of the controversy surrounding Palworld to see the consequences of this misconception.
So long as a game, or anything you try to sell, is your own original work with code and assets made and/or legally owned by you, there shouldn't be a problem.
The Pokémon Company might not appreciate you promoting it on their official forums, though.

This might be an issue, however. If Bandai own that trademark, you might need a different name for your game.

Monster catching games aren't all owned by Pokémon, so it should be fine as long as you make enough distinct features and don't reuse already existing Pokémon, characters, and icons.
But if Palworld got away with the Goodra/Meganium fusion, I don't think you need to worry too much about if your designs could get copyrighted or look too much like Pokémon.

I checked out Unimon intro by Uniwolfy and I think that some of the designs look a bit too much like kirby pikachu and alcremie so if you plan on making an actual game sold on actual consoles than you might want to change the designs a bit but you did a good job so give yourself a pat on the back! (I assume this to be what you are talking about)
