Gen 10 Starter type change?
What would you like to see as gen 10 starter types? Me it is Dragon, Ghost, Ice.
Grass, Fire, and Water all the time is getting boring lol.

Tbh, Grass, Fire, and Water are one of the few perfect type triangles and decent types competitively, I would choose different secondary types than Ghost, Fighting, and Dark.

Also I think they should keep the three types of the perfect type triangle but change the dual types at the the final evolution maybe fairy dragon and steel

I think it should stay the way it is. If it ain't broken, don't fix it.

I think keep the starter type but the final evolution could be a Grass-Dragon, Water-ghost, and Fire-Ice. that would be interesting.

@OlderAngel11 I agree with you but as @clasingla said, maybe the last evolution could have a type of ghost, psychic, and fighting. It works as a type triangle and the designs would be interesting to see.

I think fire, water and grass and their weaknesses are very easy to understand for a new player and they still make sense today. Why fix what isn't broken? Adding secondary types that counteract their weaknesses in their evolved forms was truly inspired.
It does somewhat limit the designs and themes for starters, though.

Part of the reason we have the current type trio is because Grass-Fire-Water's type matchups are easier to learn and remember for beginners than something like Fighting-Psychic-Dark. It's also what most people expect everytime a new gen releases, so changing it might make the game a bit unfamiliar to people. It'd be like removing Pikachu from the regional Pokédex.
Anyways I think that Dragon-Dragon-Dragon is a good one.
