Alolan vulpix and cottonseed not evolving.

Caught both in the terrarium and gave them their respective ice and sun stone and no matter what I do they won't evolve. Lvls 82 and 71 respectively. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

    Could be a bug because I evolved my Alolan vulpix with no problems. Might need to save and reboot the game (or even reboot the whole system).

    Did you use the stones on them or did you physically give it to them to hold lol

    You don't make them hold it. You press use and then press on them.

    Also, Fire Vulpix uses a Fire Stone. (And Ice Vulpix uses an Ice Stone)

    Like pikayou suggested, you need to Use the item on the Pokemon and they'll evolve. Giving it to them doesn't do anything.
