Why Move First?

Hey! Quick question for you guys.
Aside from special cards that do something fancy if you move first after setup…
WHY
would you
EVER
want to move first???
I mean, if you move second, then you get to use Supporter cards AND attack!
And yet on TCG Live opponents keep deciding to move first with no obvious benefits!
What gives?!

Going first can be better depending on your deck/strategy... aside from the supporters that can be used on your first turn, going first allows you to evolve into stage 1, 2, ex, etc. and attach two energies by turn 2 before your opponent can. This is the most common generic example, but there are other advantages... it depends on your deck strategy.
