Mind blown

Neutralization zone is supposed to block all damage from EX pokemon against non-ex pokemon, but somehow…N's Zoroark can still cause damage

Every other ex pokemon gets blocked, but not N's Zoroark…is there something I'm missing? Even my opponent was flabbergasted, like how? What? I'm kinda at a loss here, I put neutralization zone in my ghost deck to protect against EX and Mega pokemon…yet N's Zoroark took out my entire team

what gives card makers? 🤬

    Hello Zerofo3384,

N's Zoroark ex broke through your defense because it copied a special attack that ignores all barriers.

    Here is what happened:
    • The Copy: Zoroark used its move to copy an attack from a Pokémon on the bench (like N's Zekrom).
    • The Effect: That copied attack has a rule saying its damage cannot be stopped by any effects on your Pokémon.
    • The Result: Because the attack ignores all rules, it hit right through Neutralization Zone.

It feels like a bug, but it is a legal rule in the game!

Goodbye, and good luck in your next battle!
