Step into the world of Pokemon... yes, again.
Okay, you may remember I previously made a post with the idea of giving people complete freedom to explore in a Pokémon world.
It quickly occurred to me that this was beyond my capacity to control.
So I'm going to try doing it a little differently now.
I still want to give freedom!
But I also want to follow a plot and keep track of the people.
So…
This time, I'm going to play it like this.
Take this like an open-world game, only instead of the plot politely waiting for you to do whatever sidequest instead of saving the world, the plot will follow you.
A couple guidelines for the character you create…
You can still pick the part of the Pokémon region you live in, and give your character a backstory, personality, et cetera. I encourage you to be creative with the backstory, just without going crazy and giving me a way to actually work you into the plot. Be a gym leader's little sister, Team Rocket stole your Pokémon, whatever. Based on that backstory, you can have a Pokémon or two that I agree is fine (if you say you have a Victini you are getting a veto). Second thing, please make your character in the general age range for Pokémon main characters. Like, 10-18. This is mostly for convenience in the plot.
If you have a question whether something is allowed, just ask! I'm trying to let a lot through and let this be mostly free…
And this rule is mostly because I can only take so much…
Please no more than four of you. (I think I feel most restrictive about this rule…). I just can't take any more than that and I'm going to lose track of who everyone is and what their story is.
Anyway that big wall of rules is kind of depressing…
If you have ideas for wanting to encounter specific Pokémon or even people along the way, comment them here too so I can work them into the plot! This discussion will just be for figuring out who's joining, their characters, and such requests to be included in the plot.

Already on one because Hades beat you to it(or plagiarized yours 😇) About to do my first Gym fight against a Psychic Type Gym(Kadabra is one of the opponents... Thankfully it's not Alakazam… that'd be one Tough fight lol).
Tack on Daggerheart(despite how infrequently it meets), not sure if I got the time or memory to balance multiple campaigns 🤣 Also Hades didn't follow your limit of four because even he probably forgets where everyone is lol.
That said I'm open to it provided I have two Pokémon partners: Brigid the Vulpix and Beira the Alolan Vulpix.

Nickname: Princess
Age: 12
Occupation: Trainer
Goal: Champion
Origin: Aelita grew up in the Kanto region on Cinnabar Island. Being around Fire Types, she became enamored with the Kitsune Fox Pokémon Vulpix and eventually raised one of her own from an Egg and named her Brigid. Her mother sent her to a Boarding school in the Alola region where for a Graduation assignment she raised another Egg, only this one was an Alolan Vulpix. She named it Beira and both she and Brigid are her faithful partners.
After returning home, she hopes to become a Champion. Whether it's here in Kanto or somewhere else, the goal is to evolve from a Princess into a Queen.
