Charizard ex accurate damage?

Why does Charizard ex do more damage than described? Has anyone els experienced this?

  Yup, knew it. Charizard ex OBF is a Darkness-type. It hits for Darkness weakness, not Fire.

  Damage says 180+ 30 per prize card taken. With no other prize cards adding damage and not fire weakness the damage is double or over double
