@UnovanZorua when did you join the forums, why did you decided to stay, and how has this site affected your life

August 2023. I had joined after seeing it on the official website, and had previously known about it because of internet drama. It ended up being nicer than I expected, and I didn't have anywhere else I could discuss Pokémon in, so I stuck, and it became part of my daily routine. The forums have been an important part of my life and they've helped me greatly better myself at writing and communication, and have even given me friends I cherish.

honestly you've helped me with my writing skills, I'm very grateful for that. what are some of the lessons you've learned about writing and communication while on the forums, also knowing that you've been on here longer than me how do you think the community has changed over time

It's hard to explain. I think experience is what helped me, but I find it hard to say with what exactly. Part of it was maturing and thinking about what went wrong in this or that. I think the community has changed a lot since 2023. It feels closer now, and it's much, much, livelier.

It feels like friendship and community is an important one. People here value being nice.
