Pokemon Legends: Lamonica chapter thirty-three

Chapter 33:

As they were walking down the road towards the sound that had come, Bella paused, "What's that?" She pointed to a sign which seemed to say something like "We Liek Mudkipz." Cynthia cursed and took down the sign, "Nothing of importance." "Okay," Bella replied, looking down the road, "The noise came from over there." They hurried over and stopped short, looking at the chaos. It was Giratina.

As the group made it to Sandgem Town, Siege looked down the path and saw a figure approaching, it looked like... "Down!" He whispered. The others listened and all got down. The figure had been Quorom. When Siege looked down the hill they were on, the figure had vanished and his eyes widened, just as he felt a blade to his back. "It's good to see you all again," Quorom said, "If anyone stands up, Siege dies." Siege thought quickly, he knew he hadn't fully mastered his powers yet, but it was worth a try. He slowly concentrated and then... He was standing behind Quorom, holding both his Katanas in his angelic form, holding one to Quorom's neck. 

"Now then, be rational," Quorom said, suddenly he was standing facing Siege, katana touching his and they went into a fierce combat, dodging and weaving, Siege would have kept track, but it was all a blur.

Izzy watched in horror towards the combat; she glanced to her left and saw that Quom and Shade had also gotten up. Quom stood there, looking resigned. Shade, however, stood there, smiling as if he knew what would happen.

Shade was standing there happy, not because he wanted this to happen, but because it finally showed what he wished to happen. This was not a possible future he had seen, which either meant that Siege was defying fate – which wouldn't surprise Shade based on his powers – or it was one of the most obscure futures, however, that wouldn't be ver y good, if true.
