Writing Competition: Time to Start!

I was on my hands and knees, staring at the cracked ground beneath me. And then I looked up and saw her. The one who took everything from me. And now she's trying to convince my trainer that she's better than me. I can hear Jay’s voice in the background of the ringing in my head. “Crueledge, get up!” Jay yells. I start to think about everything she had stolen from me. My friends, my life, everything. I stand up, looking at her; I could feel my knees about to give out on me. “Awww, how sweet your trainer hasn’t given up on you yet,” Lunala said with a smirk. 

“Crueledge! Use psycho cut.” The blades were already glowing. I could feel my eyes begin to burn with the flames of my anger. I leap into action, knowing where I was going to strike. Lunala opens her mouth, getting ready to use Moongeist Beam. Phooosh, she shoots at me. I pull a quick dodge, and right when I was an inch away, she hits me. I start falling down and hit the ground with a loud boom. The dust and dirt swallow me whole. Jay, my trainer, is trying to stand straight up and give me new orders. “Ahhh, Crueledge, use X-Scissor, then hit her with Night Slash!” Jay yells. 

I start to run straight towards her, then leap into the air and use X-Scissor. She dodges it and starts to giggle. She starts to turn her head, and her eyes widen; then, with a loud crack, I hit her for the first time. “Well i took all these things from you so i’ll just try to take jay from you.” lunala says with a smirk. I do something that my trainer always tells me not to do. I let my anger take over me. I start to glow with fire around me; the flame in my eyes grows outward. “Crueledge, dont do it!” jay starts to yell at me. “You took my friends away, my life away; I won't let you take him away from me!” i yell at her. 

“Then come at me!” lunala yells at me. I start to charge at her, but i cant stop thinking about my trainer. I leap into the sky and start swinging my blades everywhere. Dodge, dodge, then a hit. We have been battling for an hour now. We were both worn out from fighting. She almost gives up but then she uses the attack that would always happen in my nightmares.

I jump up to my feet and run to my trainer. “Your trainer is mine!” she yells at me. “Crueledge!” jay yells while reaching out for me. 

Lunala was using Menacing Moonraze Maelstrom. She shoots the beam at jay then a loud boom occurs. Theres dust everywhere and lunala had passed out from using so much of her power. “Uhh,nuuuh,uhh. Huh?” jay signs. The dust clears out and there he see’s me on the ground. I have scratches all over my body, parts of my blade had broke off and a scare over me eye. I took too mush of her power. “Crueledge, no!” jay puts me back in a pokeball and takes me to the pokemon hospital. “Were sorry” the doctors said. Jay fell to his knees and started crying. 

(one year later) They say i get into to much over head fights. Which i do. But where’s the fun into fight a basic pichu? “Ladies and gentlemen! We have a special fight today with two good pokemon!” the speaker yells. “Alright crueledge this is what we got now!” jay says happily. I run straight to use psycho blade. Then zeckrom charges towards me with his attack. I love my life. Love my fights. But most of all my trainer jay.
