Nintendo customer appreciation sale
So since the switch two wasn’t supposed to be 450$ it was supposed to be cheaper, and same for Mario kart world, and stuff, and the accessories because of tariffs, and stuff, (they wanted it to be cheaper,) so they sued and because of that they are putting on a sale on most the stuff they got a price increase for around a fortnight, more information later

Looks like a sale for Xmas season(it gets earlier and earlier I swear) and just before new game releases in a month or two. Also I said Gen 10 would be November of 27 so we got over a year before that even comes out so that's why you didn't get anything at Worlds and probably won't get anything until February or the next fiscal year(April/May, maybe June given it's 6 months prior).
That said I already have accessories(two wireless controllers that I haven't used yet because I haven't done Multiplayer in house) and have no reason to do Amiibo. Now if that was a 30% Pokemon Center sale… Vulpix help me.

it’s not a sale for Christmas, did you even read it? (Also some Pokémon stuff might go on sale)

Both, I think hardware a little later though

I did. It's a Tariff related sale that they didn't have to do but I view it as a sale that people could take advantage of for Xmas because people buy stuff EARLY for it so they're done and don't have to deal with crowds(partly why Cyber Monday or online shopping has taken over).

makes sense, just you worded it basically in a way making it objectively wrong so it was confusing

Been looking at what's on sale and it's basically the big hitters or Mario(just not Mario Kart World), Zelda, DK, Metroid, etc. Echoes of Wisdom at $42 isn't that bad so those that don't have it, might be a solid opportunity. Was looking at Age of Calamity a bit(along with the DLC for it). What caught my eye is that they're charging $10 more for Physical Zelda OoT than for the Digital and that the estimated storage space is a whopper or 27 GB. Keep in mind that TotK is like 17 GB and it's a HUGE map with tons of enemies and assets... It's kind of crazy so one wonders if OoT is incredibly unoptimized because Lord is that a chunk of space.

I’m pretty sure only the older big main franchise are on sale though like switch 2 generation mainline games like Pokopia, star fox, tomodachi life, rhythm rhythm, etc. are not going on sale for being more recent I’m pretty sure

Correct, only older titles. Yet you'd think Pokémon would be included in the appreciation sale but I guess $60 for Gen 7/8 games is "justified" when Gen 9(which also isn't on sale) has been out for 3+ years and Gen 10 has already been teased. 🤷🙅Was kind of hoping the Z-A DLC was on sale but nope. Guess I'll never bother with it.
30% off a Pro Controller isn't too bad given the battery life on it. I just have two cheap ones that I haven't even used yet(no in house multiplayer opportunities have arisen).

It’s kinda annoying they didn’t put any new stuff on sale, considering it’s the whole point of it, but at least we have a sale
