FIRST DECK WITH MEGAEVOLUTION SETS

Hi, I want to start playing Pokémon TCG for the first time, and I have a lot of bulk cards from the Mega Evolution sets (ASC, PFL, POR, CRI, and PBL). I'd like to build a deck using cards from those sets without including any Pokémon-EX cards. I also have an Ampharos Prerelease deck, but it only has 40 cards. Is there a standard 60-card deck that I could build using the conditions I mentioned above?

    Yes! I recommend you sort our your cards first. Most people sort by pokemon, trainers, energies. From there i separate the pokemon with abilities and see which ones help eachother. Good basic ones are bedew and psyduck. You can see what pokemon you will want to play it really depends on if youre playing for fun or competitive play.

    Pokémon TCG Live is a great place to test out your deck once you've built it; it's free and allows you to battle Trainers from all over the world.

    It's also a great place to see what other people are doing with the Mega Evolution sets!

    I recommend you try the Team Rocket's Honchcrow deck from ASC. You don't need cards from many different sets and it doesn't play any ex Pokémon. You can search a list online or I can give you mine. The only thing you might not have are the Roto Sticks from PRE, but you can replace those with Pokegear 3.0 which I think was reprinted in MEG.
