Are arithmetic calculators allowed at competitions?

My wife has started playing the TCG with me but she has Dyscalculia (inability to do arithmetic) I was wondering if the disability rules would allow her to bring a simple arithmetic calculator to her matches?

Calculators are generally not allowed... however there are exceptions for players with disabilities, but you need to contact the event organizer and explain the situation. If they approve your request she could then be able to use it.
