I play at a local card shop, we manage an average of 16 competitors every Saturday. It brings joy to in otherwise dreary town.

I played in a regional or state once…2016 ish. The bathroom got overwhelmed, not cleaned, and eventually flooded. O and I ended up with the flu. I played a flarion deck and got 67th…so dont think it was regional. fun deck too bad i sold the cards lol.

I have been participating in the only official Game Store of my city since January of 2025.
Before that I only used to go there to buy Pokemon cards. The workers started to invite me to the Pokemon tournaments since I had cards and knew the rules (because I played online).
I was not aware that many people in this small city also collect and play Pokemon. I meet new friends, we trade or sell cards to each other, we exchange ideas for decks and I have also tried their decks on tournaments.
Overall, it has been a great experience: I have new friends and meet more people with same love for Pokemon TCG.
