Pokemon Legends: Lamonica chapter twenty-nine

Chapter 29:

As a new day was dawning, Bella woke Izzy, saying, “Come on! It’s time to battle!” “It’s seven am!” Izzy whined. “So?” Bella asked, “Come on! Get up!” “Fine,” Izzy groaned, “How are we doing the battle?” “Two v two,” Bella said, “Hurry up!” “I need to get dressed,” Izzy said, “Ow. Can you help me?” “Sure,” Bella said. After helping Izzy get dressed, Bella led her outside for a battle, bouncing with excitement. “Who do you choose?” Bella asked.

Izzy was considering her choice hard, knowing Bella was a Fairy type specialist. “Go Gardevoir,” she said, being countered with Bella saying, “Go, Togekiss.” “Gardevoir,” Izzy says, “Mega evolve.” “What’ll that do?” Bella asks, “Togekiss, use Dazzling Gleam!” The attack, quickly connecting makes Gardevoir stagger back, but Izzy counters with, “Stand strong! Use Psychic!” The attack connects, and with boosted special attack, it knocks Togekiss out of the air. “Good job,” Bella states, “You won.”

Shiroboshi and Siege exited the tent together, expecting to be the first ones up, but were surprised by Bella and Izzy being awake. “Good morning boys,” Bella says, shooting a mischievous look at Izzy. “Morning,” Shiroboshi yawns, “What are you two doing?” “Nothing,” Izzy says, limping over to Shiroboshi, “What about you two?” “Waking up?” Siege said, confused. “Makes sense,” Bella said, the mischievous look still there, “You boys want some breakfast?” “Sure,” Shiroboshi and Siege said. 

After making it to the table that Bella and Izzy had set up, Shiroboshi inquired, “What’d you make?” “Pancakes,” Bella said, handing them paper plates with three pancakes on each. Just as Shiroboshi was about to take a bite, Izzy started laughing uncontrollably. “What’s so funny?” Shiroboshi asked. “Nothing,” Izzy said, “Nothing.” Shiroboshi decided to ignore and took a bite of his pancake, spitting it out almost immediately. "What did you put in this?!” Shiroboshi shouted, looking for water.

Siege had been about to take a bite of his pancake, just when Shiroboshi took one, causing him to reconsider. “What did you put in them?” Siege asked. “I promise yours are fine,” Bella said, “Just some revenge.” “Alright,” Siege said cautiously, taking a bite of his pancake. Siege’s pancake tasted normal, unlike Shiroboshi’s seemed to have. “Yummy,” Siege said, taking another bite, “Thanks.” “You’re welcome,” Bella said, “Quom, Shade! Wake up!” Soon, Quom and Shade came out of their tents, irritated for being woken up. “We should leave soon,” Quom said. “Yeah,” said Shiroboshi, heading into his tent to pack up.
