Chapter 27:

Bella was chatting with Izzy when Siege and Shiroboshi came in, having a conversation. “Hey boys,” Bella said, “What are you talking about?” “Nothing,” Shiroboshi said hastily. “Uh-huh,” Bella said, “Anyways, we think that we should be able to get going tomorrow.” “Okay,” Siege said shoving Shiroboshi into their room, “Come on!” “That was strange,” Izzy said. “Yeah,” Bella replied, “You think that you’re ready to try a Pokémon battle?” “Yeah,” Izzy said, starting to get up, but Bella said, “You think I’m just gonna let you get up? No, take these crutches.” Bella caught Izzy as she began to stumble, giving her a pair of crutches.

Izzy and Bella had made it to the battle court when Bella said, “Not to long, so how about one Pokemon each?” “Sure,” Izzy agreed, “I’ll use Ceruledge.” “I’ll use Primarina,” Bella replied, “Ready?” “Yeah,” Izzy said sending Ceruledge out, while Bella sent out Primarina. “Ceruledge, use Psycho Cut!” Izzy shouted. “Dodge it,” Bella said. Ceruledge went in for the attack, but Bella’s Primarina dodged the attack, with a new command from Bella being issued, “Now, use Hydro Pump!” “Dodge it and then strike back with Bitter Blade,” Izzy said, initiating a dodge, but an unsuccessful Bitter Blade. “I think we’re done now,” Bella said, confusing Izzy, “Finish it with Hydro Pump!” Primarina launched another Hydro Pump at Ceruledge, at point blank range this time, scoring the knockout.

“You’re sure?” Siege asked again, finally starting to get on Shiroboshi’s nerves. “Yes,” Shiroboshi said, “I will tell her, just not yet. I’ll wait until I’m ready.” “Fine,” Siege said, “So, anyways I saw you have a katana. I bet it’s not as cool as mine.” “Really?” Shiroboshi asked, pulling out his katana, “You think you’ve got a cooler katana than this?” “Definitely,” Siege replied, pulling out of thin air a glowing gold and white katana, “That’s not all though.” Siege then reached back into thin air and pulled out another katana, this one seeming to absorb the light from around it. “What do you think?” Siege asked, “Pretty cool, right?” “I suppose,” Shiroboshi said, “But I bet you couldn’t out spar me.” “You think?” Siege asked, “Bring it on. The training room, later today.” “Sure,” Shiroboshi agreed.”
