Pokemon Legends: Lamonica chapter twenty-four

Chapter 24:

Quom and Shade had just made it to the center of Newmoon Island when they heard a crash in the distance, Quom saying, “Run.” The two ran, reaching the center of the island in no time, finding Darkrai, waiting there for them. “Darkrai,” Shade said, “I humbly ask you to help us escape from Newmoon Island.” Darkrai looked down and said, “I will help you, Shade, and you Quom Nan-Iro, but remember this, you are now indebted to Darkrai.” “Thank you, Lord Darkrai,” Quom said as she watched Darkrai create them a portal and say, “Now go, stop Quorom and Giratina.”

Siege and Bella were sitting just outside town, when they saw two figures tumble onto the ground. “Could that be who I think it is?” Siege asked. “I hope so,” Bella said, “I’ll get the others, you go check.” Siege was about to protest, when he decided to go along with it. He walked over to the figures, seeing that it was Quom and Shade; it turned to a sprint. “Quom, Shade!” Siege exclaimed, “Are you guys, okay?” “We’re fine,” Shade said, “How’s Izzy?” “She’s goo,” Siege replied, “Shiroboshi stayed behind to watch her.” “He seems to really like her,” Shade said, “Maybe I should give him some advice.” “No,” Quom said, “You are horrible with women. Why do you think we aren’t friends anymore?” “Fair point,” Shade replied.

Bella arrived at the suite to tell Shiroboshi and Izzy, saying to them, “I think we found Quom and Shade. Shiroboshi, do you want to come and see them?” Shiroboshi, who had been sitting on a chair next to Izzy’s bed, reading, looked up and said, “No. Izzy might need me.” “Okay,” Bella said, “Do you know my phone number?” “What’s a phone?” Shiroboshi asked, “Is that a food?” Bella sighed and said, “Never mind, just call me if you need anything.” “Okay,” Shiroboshi replied, “See you later.”

Siege had just finished explaining some things, and Quom was more confused hearing the story directly from the source. Then, when he mentioned Vee setting the whole thing up for Bella, she got more confused. “Slow down,” Quom told Siege, “So, a lot happened, but I think Bella would be better at explaining.” “I suppose you're right,” Siege replied, “But a lot happened.” So, the three of them waited for Bella to arrive there. When Bella finally arrived, she did a much better job explaining things, then saying, “We don’t have much room left in our suite, are you guys okay sleeping on the floor?” Shade and Quom both nodded, as they walked back to the suite, still conversing.
