Pokemon Legends: Lamonica chapter twenty

Chapter 20:

Shiroboshi and Izzy were deposited in the place they had been right before being separated from the others. After quickly looking around, Shiroboshi quickly realized that no one else was there. “Let’s head into Jubilife,” Shiroboshi suggested. “Good idea,” Izzy replied, “We might be able to find a doctor.” The two head into the village, where they quickly spot a place for Izzy to sit down. Soon, someone begins to approach them, from a distance Shiroboshi doesn’t recognize them, but when they get closer, he recognizes it as Siege. “Siege,” he says, with surprise, “What happened?” “Well, we fought Giratina, we met an old friend of Bella’s, we went through a training course, and more,” Siege said, “I don’t even know what happened, honestly.” “Well, for now, do you have a place we can stay?” Shiroboshi asked, with Siege replying, “Yes, follow me.”

Siege led Shiroboshi and Izzy to the place where he and Bella had been staying and said, “This is the place. Ready to go in?” “Yeah,” Shiroboshi replies, then looking at Izzy, “What about you?” “Yes,” she managed to shake out, clearly in pain. After they made their way inside, Siege took a quick look at the two room three bed suite, making sure that it was the same. “Siege is that you?” Bella’s voice called from her room. “Yes,” Siege replied, “And I have Izzy and Shiroboshi. 

Bella, having come out of her room, said, “We need to work out sleeping arrangements. Shiroboshi, you sleep in the same room as Siege, and Izzy you can take the other bed in my room.” “There’s only one bed in my room,” Siege pointed out. “Either you share a bed with Shiroboshi, or you guys battle over it or something,” Bella replied, calmly. Siege looked over at Shiroboshi, and simultaneously, they said, “Battle!” At this point, Bella was fixing up Izzy’s leg when she said, “Alright. You two boys go do that at the courtyard, while I fix Izzy’s leg.” “Okay,” the two said, both eagerly excited. 

After they made it to the battlefield, Shiroboshi said, “Ready Siege? We’re doing this with manners.” “Yeah,” Siege said, holding his hand up next to Shiroboshi’s in an x, with poke ball in hand, “First knockout wins.” “Okay,” Shiroboshi replied, “3, 2, 1, go!” After Shiroboshi said this, they withdrew their arms, Siege sending out Metagross, and Shiroboshi sending out Gardevoir. “Going for a quick win?” Siege asked, holding up and pressing a keystone on his wrist. “Yeah,” Shiroboshi replied, also touching a keystone.

Bella, still treating Izzy’s leg, realized just how bad it was. “What happened to your leg?” She asked. “A Jolteon ran into it,” Izzy said in pain, “Shiroboshi scared the Jolteon off though, then he put my leg in a splint and got us out of there.” “So,” Bella said, “What’s between you two?” “Nothing!” Izzy said hastily. “So, you like him,” Bella replied, “I thought so, but wasn’t sure until now.” “No,” Izzy started to protest before sighing, “Yes, fine you’re right.” “So,” Bella said, “When do I get to tell him?” “You don’t get to tell him anything,” Izzy replied, “I’ll tell him in my own time.” “Alright,” Bella replied, “Your leg should be better in a couple of days. Do you need anything?” “No,” Izzy said, “I’m fine.” After that, Izzy laid down and went to sleep.
