1: I was going through @Shadow_Sylveon disagrees and saw his cat answer and wanted to praise him for it. Then I went through the entire thread...
2: Cats are actually protective of their owners but I would say what Oreo gives me is joy. When I get home from errands she meets me at the door or when she comes up to me and asks to be picked up. I love when she's playing and she does the dumbest, funniest thing. I Just feel happier with her

So I don't know if you read or remember a rant I did a while ago about my first first (and so far last) job, but my boss hated me and I hated her
Wait, I was about to get off topic...
Anyways, the place was a donut shop
My mom told me any time she offers me food, accept it
That's them showing appreciation
I didn't realize she meant from the shop and that I could decline their cooking
Well my Boss' husband came up to me with these dumplings (I thought that's what it was) and offered them
Remembering my mom's words, I took one, thanked him, and put it my mouth
One bite and instant regret
That texture and taste is unforgettable and not in a good way
But the dude watched me eat it, so I had to resist showing my disgust and just nod and chew
He aaked "You like it?"
I wasn't trying to get fired for insulting the cooking, so I just nodded more
He said "Yeah, good kitty"
THEN JUST WALKED AWAY!!!
I immediately ran to a trash can, spat it out, went to the bathroom, and kept spitting into the sink because the taste was in my saliva
Gods I'll never forget that day...
And some people are like "Oh, he was probably messing with you. There's no way that's what it was"
No, me and my mom have looked up cat reviews and everyone that eats it describes exactly what I had
This is trauma and my mom likes to make jokes about it...
