Nods. But you get 2 Dice per session. So if you spend your dice during the first session, you get two more at beginning of Session 2(hence you see how strong this Class feature is). Number of dice can be increased by upgrading your Strength trait(which you can do every Tier). Whether there is Equipment that grants a boost while equipped I don't know but the fact you can reduce damage, change roll outcomes or generate Hope is nothing short of nuts. All predicated on how you roll though.

My thinking on Poison Point is that any attacker that succeeds on a melee attack roll must roll a D6. Any result of a 5 or greater poisons the target. Poison saps the target of 1 HP slot per action.
I made the conscious decision to make it a melee attack because of how it only applies to moves that make Physical contact. So moves that are from afar will not be impacted. Poison could do Stress instead of HP given that's what it does in Daggerheart.

that makes sense.

It does but it also ignores one big thing: Poison Types. Poison Types have Natural immunity to Poison. Same thing for Steel types but both can be poisoned if the foe doing it has the Corrosion ability.
In a way, Pokemon Ancestry yields two perks. Ability perk + Typing perk. Typing perk yields STAB(not sure how to apply that) to certain Pokemon moves along with varying degree of resistance or vulnerability to certain attacks.

@clasingla You going to permit Generation gimmicks like Mega Evolution, Gigantamax or Terrastilization? Just thinking and trying to cause even more headaches for our wonderful GM 😇

Hmm…
I'm trying to think if Catsuki would use Maxing or Terra…
Not Maxing since their whole thing is stealthy but charming, so being huge isn't gonna help with that
However, Terra Ghost feels right on them and the jewels could dazzle the crowd
I think I'd use Terra

10+ result on a D12 is 25%. Odds in Pokemon is 30% so maybe make it 9-12 or 9+ for 33% odds? I mean the crit rate in Daggerheart is 1/12 or 8.3% compared to D&D 5%.
If not a Poison or Steel type, target is poisoned and must mark a Stress for every action. Actual DH Poison condition has you roll a D6 every time you act while poisoned. If it's 4 or less you mark a Stress so it's possible to succeed and not have to mark. Doesn't work that way in Pokemon.
Speaking of which... What about Toxic and badly poisoned?

I suppose that would apply to them as well. Serene Grace would be nuts... Not sure how id do Sheer Force.
But we haven't exactly ironed out what effect Sleep, Frozen and other status conditions will have.
