Btw figure id remind you that I'll be here for the first 45 minutes of the Session before I travel to Jr.Giants(aka volunteer). How active I'll be from 19:00 UTC until session end, I don't know. Same deal with Session 2 on August 1st as that's the last game with Jr.Giants with a big party afterwards to celebrate the end of the season. That means that other party members will have the spotlight as they say.

If I'm not drafted to soft pitch(because they don't have a pitcher for some reason), I'll be more active during the last hour. If I am, I'll be mia lol.

I live to serve. Lmk if you need help with anything you have left. No rush btw unless you really want to be in Group A that starts this Saturday. Im inclined to go w/ Group A but ultimately GM calls the shots on who plays with whom if they don't voice their preference and I'm indifferent on which group I'm on. Hades is doing both so it'll be interesting to see if he can keep his two characters in order.

Group A character sheets should be up later this week(probably by Thursday if I had to guess) to fix any potential mistakes in time for Saturday's opening session.

@PikaCarter2025 @Morpekofreako and anyone else who might need above. Basically a general overview of the game mechanics and what you will be doing on the first session. It's unlikely we will have combat but you never know. Not every character has to do a roll unless specifically told by the GM so some characters will have control of the spotlight as they say and GM will shift the spotlight so that every character gets a chance to contribute to the story/campaign.

For rolls, you either utilize dice you have or an online dice roller. Both require the honor system since there's no way for us to track such things here on this Forum. Character sheets will be posted in the coming days that you will utilize over the course of the Campaign. Updating of character sheets will occur on level up or every 3 sessions or so. Keeping track of your character's Hope, Stress, HP, Armor slots and inventory is on you and if GM omits something or forgets(he is human after all), then you can politely correct the error.

As has probably been said but will be repeated, Sessions are every other Saturday unless specifically told otherwise by GM. Sessions start at 18:00 UTC and last for two hours(roughly). If you cannot make a session or have to leave during one, give us a heads up(real life takes priority and we won't think differently of you).

Currently we have two groups. If you have a group preference, please make your voice be heard on the poll thread. If you're indifferent like me, then GM can assign you to one. Groups will likely be finalized sometime this week(estimate Friday at the latest). Your group will dictate which sessions you attend(unless your Hades who can't say no to two simultaneous campaigns).

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

    Other:

He's cowardly, always on alert, and likely to run away from things. He was brought up in a nomadic family that traveled from town to town to survive and relied on singing to the point their songs were recognisable around the region. They put high expectations on the children, but he didn't enjoy living like that and ran away to perform in his own style, and wanted to use his songs to help adventurers. He's 11 years old.

Very nice. When it comes to Weapons, you can utilize either a 2-handed weapon or a 1-handed primary weapon and then a secondary weapon or off-hand item(like a shield). Each weapon has a trait corresponding to the trait modifier you'd add(or subtract if it's -1) to any action roll involving that weapon.

Since you are a Bard, they typically recommend a Presence trait weapon due to the fact your Spellcast trait is Presence(and players often put +2 here for that reason). Yet you are not bound by recommended loadouts. You do what you want. Pick a Tier 1 weapon from this: Weapons

The page can be filtered to a particular trait to help you decide or can be filtered to two hand or one hand options. Since you have +2 into Instinct, your Instinct options are Quarterstaff to deal blunt physical damage in a melee way or deal Magic damage with a Shortstaff in one hand(and w/e you want in the other) or a Dualstaff to deal Magic damage from range(like me). Presence trait weapons are Cutlass or Rapier to deal hard physical damage in melee combat(along with a secondary weapon or shield of your choice) OR you can opt to use a Scepter to deal Magic damage from afar. The Scepter has a secondary perk of having increased damage when used in melee range. Basically pick what you like. Shields boost your base Armor score but can come with an Evasion penalty in the case of the Tower Shield. One quick note that fortunately doesn't apply to you but it does to @Evolve8eon given he is a Guardian(and Warriors too) is that if your class does not possess a Spellcast trait, then you are relegated to Physical damage weapons only. Yet because you have a Spellcast trait, you can use w/e you feel like.

As for Armor, you have four choices at Tier 1. Gambeson is the lightest and gives a +1 bonus to Evasion. Every instance of Armor above that has higher damage thresholds and in the case of Chainmail and Full Plate Armor, one additional Armor slot(based on Base score). Armor slots are used to mitigate incoming damage so the more armor slots you have, the more damage you can mitigate before it needs to be repaired during downtime activities. Chainmail and Full Plate Armor also have drawbacks such as penalties to your Evasion and even Agility for Full Plate. Armor options are found here: Armor Pick w/e you like. Given you're a Bard with 10 base Evasion and 5 HP slots, I highly recommend Gambeson to make your character harder to hit.

@UnovanZorua I like the name of Mildred(female I assume). What ability do you want from the Budew line? Got Poison Point, Natural Cure and Leaf Guard as options. Lmk if you need help with Equipment(Weapon/Armor/starting Potion(Health or Stamina)/class item(not super important but it's a romance novel or letter never opened)). Aside from that your done.

@clasingla going to update the character recap tomorrow and shift it to page 83/84 from 59 so you don't have to dig that far into the history bin lol.
