It's a solid game but a bit inconsistent. Namely there's an area of the map where you have to protect yourself from the cold(which anyone who's played BotW or TotK would understand) but you don't need anything for Heat(be it the Gerudo Desert or Eldin Volcano). The Game's Echo mechanic is clever but rather repetitive once you learn which Echoes are the best. I use Echoes all the time for combat but if you crave old sword combat or using a Bow, you can but the time is limited. The Bomb mechanic is sadly redundant given there is an Echo that performs the same task but there is a Dungeon Boss where Bombs can deal some damage.

Overall 9/10 with a recommendation. I just wouldn't get it at $60. $40 and below, go right ahead. I think it's on sale at Best Buy right now at that price so yeah.

Yeah it's on sale, at least where I am. Just an FYI, I've 100% Echoes at least 5 times. The game can be split into three sections. 1st section is the Demo portion that is the beginning all the way to the first Dungeon. 2nd section is the rest of the world map(areas you can explore that is some are blocked for obvious reasons) that encompasses Dungeons 2-4 and final section is the last three Dungeons before you go to the "Lost Woods" to do the end-game/final boss.

After doing the first Dungeon and no other major Dungeons, you can get up to 26 Heart Pieces(game has 40 overall), 82 Might Crystals(collectible that is used to get Sword/Bow/Bomb upgrades) and 24 Stamps(nothing of note for this other than a Glass Bottle for getting 15). If you do Jabul Waters Dungeon, you can get one additional Heart Piece and 3 Might Crystals(each Major Dungeons yields 5 Might Crystals), hence if you collect everything prior to 4th Dungeon, you'll be at 27 HP, 95 MC and 24 Stamps. 95 MC is what you need to fully upgrade Sword, Bow and Energy so yeah... totally worth it.

I know where everything is. Give me a holler if you need help on anything. Oh and one more thing. I highly recommend exploring Eldin Volcano and doing a side quest up there before the 4th Dungeon. Will save you time because one side quest becomes locked until you complete the Eldin Dungeon(which doesn't appear until after the 4th Dungeon but some quests can be finished before that).
