NO has four variants. The four variants are broken down into two categories: Individual and Family. Family costs more but can hold up to 8 accounts so if you divide it by total accounts, it's cheaper than Individual on a per account basis. Individual is $20, Family is $35 for a year(yearly rate is the cheapest).

Then there is the Expansion Pack which grants access to everything the standard plan does but adds classic libraries for N64, GBA, Sega Genesis, and GameCube(Switch 2 only). Libraries could be improved(original Smash should be on N64 but isn't), and access to certain DLC at no cost(including Switch 2 upgrade to BotW) is frankly a whoopie do bonus that doesn't really help new Switch users unless they go and buy old content. Individual is $50 and Family is $80 for a year.

The biggest reason to port it or upgrade it to the Switch 2 is to take advantage of the improvements in the hardware and the communication functionality that the base Switch lacks.

As for the roster, I am pleased that they have my Arctic Fox but where is the OG fox(*cough* Avatar cough) or OG Fire types like Arcanine. Then there is the sheer lack of Bug types(Scizor is it.. what Butterfree, Ribombee or Heracross not good enough? Buzzwole don't count), Poison types... Arbok, Weezing, Seviper, way to kill Team Rocket fantasy, Crobat or heck Drapion would be phenomenal options, Rock Types(Tyranitar is pretty much it…) or Normal types that would make sense(Tauros or Kangaskahn comes to mind for me.. Ditto Slaking or Braviary but maybe they're creeps or mini-boss encounters. There's also Ditto! What better way to annoy your opponent than to copy it). The roster is just too heavily slanted towards starters, Legendaries, Mythicals and that electric mouse that needs to be bulldozed into the ground. Also what gives on Eevolutions.. Flareon? Jolteon?

Disclaimer: I've played 25 years of Pokemon Yellow... I've had my fill of that Electric mouse.
