You assign traits as you see fit. There's no "right" way to play a character or class. Presence is the Bard class trait and while ideally you'd want +2 to get that on Spellcast rolls, a +1 is adequate.
Still need a name, Class Item(just pick letter never opened because Romance novel is puzzling option to me), Domain cards or Spells/Abilities(can choose from Grace and Codex domains; I recommend Inspirational Words from Grace Domain and Book of Ava from Codex), Community choice(not sure what I'd pick w/o a bit of background or origin story. Ridgeborne would be interesting though), Experiences(try Sticky fingers + Helpful) and your equipment(Weapon + Armor + Health Potion). Rapier + Round Shield and Gambeson Armor would be my recommendations.

As I look at Codex domain, Book of Illiat is growing on me. It's first spell has good synergy with a Grass type so maybe I'll recommend that one over Ava. That and Arcane Barrage on Illiat card is a one-time per rest spell that is an awesome Hope sink that can turn it into a magical nuke.

@UnovanZorua the domain card options you have access to (pick 2)
Are
Deft deceiver, enrapture, inspirational words, book of Ava, book of illiat, and book of tyfar
I do recommend to not pick enraptured because we already have 2 other players who have selected it1 -
Deft Deceiver

Book of Tyfar

Guess he is just not the Inspirational type 🤣 Granted he wouldn't get the most out of it with +1 Presence. Tyfar is an interesting choice. It's got solid utility but it's primary attack spell requires being in melee range but can hit up to 3 targets from a single attack roll(so it could deal some damage) at the cost of one stress.
Still got character name, class item, Experiences and Equipment. No rush 😉
