Pokémon Music Poll!

I really want them to make HD-2D remakes.

I am not really a fan of pokemon music. It tends to be too cheerful and peaceful for me

I know a lot of people enjoyed SwSh. For some it is their favourite game. That is fine, that is allowed, I am glad you took something positive from the experience. I cannot and do not want to take that away from you.

As I have said, I enjoyed the music, the character design (though not the character writing) and a lot of the town and route aesthetics. It is very rare to find a game with zero redeeming qualities.

But SwSh absolutely represents a low point in the series, and in many ways it has declined further still. I am not going to withhold my critique of a game just because you like it. If we ever want to see the series improve, we have to be honest and open about these things.

Feel free to disagree. Tell me why I'm wrong. I don't consider it a personal slight for someone to hold opposing opinions to mine, and I hope you do not take personal offence when I express my own. That is not my intent.

In many of my all time favourite games I still recognise considerable flaws. But I still love them, and I am not upset when someone points out the issues. Heck, I'll probably be the first one to point them out myself.

Perhaps I didn't need to say all of that, but I just wanted to clarify in case anyone took my hatred of SwSh as a personal affront. My problem is with the game design, not with you enjoying the game.

SwSh is the best looking main series Pokémon game on Switch, including the Wild Area, and that is sad. Pokémon looks utterly awful nowadays.

There is a difference between bad quality and art style, just because the new games aren’t in realistic art style or pixel art style doesn’t mean they are bad quality per say
