I'm going to name her Katara after a series that I've been a fan of for over 20 years. Given she was a Water Bender in that series, she fits my Water Elemental Sorceress quite well and her natural raw talent for controlling Water is exceptional. I'm debating whether to make her a descendant of Beira given I want to keep Alolan Vulpix as my species(in lieu of Daggerheart Ancentries or Elf race as an example). Given we're shifting to Daggerheart, my ability scores or traits would be Strength(-1), Agility(+0), Finesse(+1), Instinct(+2), Presence(+1) and Knowledge(+0). I'm going to roll with Arcana Domain since Midnight is all about Shadows and Secrecy and I don't think that fits Katara's character one bit. Plus, Arcana users channel raw enigmatic forces to manipulate their own energy(which fits much better).
For equipment, I'll go with Gambeson Armor or Light Armor that gives +1 to Evasion. No idea what the Base Thresholds or Base Score mean so I'll have to look into that some more to understand that. For Weapon, Dualstaff seems appropriate. Arcana only gets one ability at level 7 if I'm reading it right(other domains get so much more, including Midnight). As I look at it some more, Midnight is the perfect Thief domain.
If there's anything else I need to decide on, feel free to let me know.

There are 9 classes in Bard, Druid, Guardian, Ranger, Rogue, Seraph, Warrior, Sorcerer and Wizard. Each class can pull from one of two domains available to them. Bard's can pull from Codex or Grace, Druid from Arcana or Sage, Guardian from Blade or Valor, Ranger from Bone or Sage, Rogue from Grace or Midnight(recommended if you want to be a Thief), Seraph from Splendor or Valor, Warrior from Blade or Bone, Sorcerer from Arcana or Midnight and Wizard can pick from Codex or Splendor. An explanation of each domain can be found here:
If I'm reading Domains right, you can pick up to two cards from those Domains. Cards can be an ability or spell and they can both be from one domain or one from each.
Each class can have a subclass, which you can preview here:
As for Weapons and Armor, you'll have to pick your starting equipment, which you can also view here:
You'll pick Tier 1 Weapons/Armor and ideally a weapon that specializes with your class strength or proficiency. Your Ability scores are not rolled but are rather assigned as you see fit with +2, +1, +1, +0, +0 and -1 to the six abilities in Strength, Agility, Finesse, Instinct, Presence and Knowledge. The class page I linked has a suggested layout for Traits along with Weapon/Armor loadout.

You can assign them as you see fit. No need to roll.

I'm thinking of playing as a different Pokémon this time. I haven't chosen which yet, but I want to be a cowardly Troubadour Bard. I'll think of more details later.
