"There's not really a reason for the destruction demons cause," Phoxy answers as they take a seat in one of the chairs in your living room and prop their feet up on your coffee table. "It is practically their idea of fun, like how you feel with your favorite hobby."

there are a few that I suspect more than others dale is currently my top candidate so far i haven’t got a lot out of Todd or jasmine which is what I’ll probably do tommorow and I think I crossed off Gregory since you say demons never lie and he said he never heard of yokai which if he was one would be a lie

Phoxy doesn't immediately respond, contemplating whether they should answer or not. With a sigh, they answer. "Okay, I am a demon," they say slowly. "But ike I said, I'm the protector of the mortals. I'm a rare and unique species, craving safety the way normal demons crave chaos. I'm trustworthy."

"Demons will avoid answering questions about their kind," Phoxy explains. "Sometimes they'll try to make you sound crazy for thinking they're real, but they'll never actually deny their existance, literally being unable to." The mysterious Delphox sits up straight, locking eyes with you. "Remember, they cannot lie. But something you have to keep in mind is not all mortals are liars. Just because someone is honest doesn't mean they're evil. Just pay attention to how they respond."
