I was going to do research and look at maps to see what would be cool and unique, but since a certain huge leak confirmed Pokémon avoids copying fan ideas, we should pick something we don't want. Preferably somewhere in Europe or North America or Japan so they have to give us somewhere new (like they're doing in WW). This will probably have zero effect on anything but it'd be funny.
