First time poster, long-time Trainer

Hi. I'm Laz (ignore the username; I've changed my real name since then and don't know how to update my username). I've been playing since waaaaaaaay back in gen 1.

I'm always happy to talk about the games with anyone. :) I've played most of the video games, and I have a few TCG decks (although I haven't been able to buy any new boosters since Destined Rivals—my local area always ends up picked clean within hours of a new card release lately, and the only stores that seem to have them in stock aren't official dealers so the prices are through the roof).

Favorite starters from each gen so far: Squirtle, Cyndaquil, Mudkip, Piplup, Snivy, Fennekin, Rowlet, Scorbunny, Fuecoco.

Houndoom is my favorite Pokemon. I know it's not the strongest, but ever since I first battled one in Silver Version 26 years ago, I've thought it was the coolest looking dog-Pokemon ever.

    Wassup, @lauracat! I think Houndoom Is awesome too! What are your thoughts on Mega Houndoom? I know in Z-A, Mega Houndoom is (heehee) like an underdog, known as good in at attacking, but is not so great on HP. Not many trainers run to Houndoom as the best option, but if you're willing to make sacrifices to get some heavy hits in, I think Houndoom would be ideal. Do you have a second-favorite Pokémon?
