Quoting this as proof due to below(rumor) because I am now going to riot. Way to screw Kanto Ninetales again GF... Had the opportunity to give it Fairy typing like it's Alolan counterpart but noooooooooooooooooooo x π you chose to give it to that @6#7#:8+#-^π×=€×= Dog.

It's a rumor and I concede that but the video basically states that starters will have Grass/Ground, Fire/Fairy and Water/Psychic for their final(tier 3) form. Since I'm on the record stating what it'd be for the fire starter, I feel obligated to riot. I want Fire/Fairy for Kanto Ninetales.

Yeah, this is my idea:
Grass/Ground if Browt continues to be flightless, but if it grows wings (and they'll make a show of the wings being large and powerful) then Grass/Flying
Pombom's I'm actually split between Fire/Fighting and Fire/Fairy but because I think it will be a guard dog
And my hope for Gequa is Water/Poison because of the poisonous lizards that can be found at islands like the one this is based on
Honestly, Grass/Ground, Fire/Fairy, and Water/Poison has a nice flow

The video does state that Water/Poison is a possibility and the author prefers that given we haven't had that yet for the Water starter(Ditto Fire). Also Decidueye has large wings but doesn't have Flying typing(loses it in lieu of Ghost). Nothing says they won't repeat that again.
