Why is this not in the Pokémon day to day calender

I bought the Pokémon day to day calender off of Pokemon center and when I checked February 27 it did not have Pokemon day on it does anyone else find this abstract

    Perhaps the decision was made to only include officially recognised holidays for the country in which you reside?
