You said yourself about best friend that have blurred a lot of lines. I just agree with that. That whole situation is… blurry to me.
I mean, its not like marriage is the ONLY ultimate 'being together' thing. That's kind of what's on my mind. I don't mean to go anywhere, but… Being super close friends with someone is still amazing and it can be just as amazing. Honestly, there should be a better word for it than 'best friends'. I've seen some really impressive bonds. I feel like there should be a word for a friend that is bonded with someone in a not romantic way.
(And to be fair 'platonic lover' TECHNICALLY is a oxymoron. I mean I get how you're trying to use it, but it is…)2 -

- I said technically. Because 'platonic' means non-romantic and a 'lover' is someone in a romantic relationship. But people say 'definite maybe' which is way more of one. I'm correcting your grammar more than anything XD
