sneak peek to my story. (so far)
"Pfffft, hahahahaha!" They all start laughing out loud. I still can't stop thinking about why this is my favorite sound to hear. It just gives me this small feeling in my body. I guess they call it joy, excitement, or maybe it's that I actually found something that I fit in with. This may not make sense to you, but you learn more as you read.
Me
My name is Matt. My full name is Matthew. Or I guess, if you wanted the real full name, it is Matthew Lee Dikeson. I grew up in Nashville, Tennessee. I'm a seventh grader (in case you wanted to know). My dad, Mark, was raised in Dallas, Texas. He had planned on living there all his life until he met my mom bethany. She came from conway south carilina . Are the best parnents i guess. Would I trade one of them for someone else? Yes, I would. I would give up my mom for Megan Fox any day of the week. But anyway, I guess how I got where I am was a long, long, maybe even too long adventure. It all started in sixth grade. " Well, this is how the world came to be," Mr. Peterson said. (Let me cut this off for you: Mr. Peterson is the social studies teacher, and how much do I hate this guy. So what does a student that hates a teacher do to him? Let me tell you. Make him look like an idiot, like he shouldn't be teaching). "Oh, Mr.Peterson, you claim that humans came from monkeys or apes, right?" I pause to let him answer. "Uhh, yeah, why?" he said with an eyebrow raised. " So then monkeys come from us," I say to him with a straight face. "Pfft, hahahaha." The whole class laughs. Mr. Peterson gave me this look as if I had passed halfway through his last button. "Enough," He says while everyone stops laughing. "No, maybe if you would pay attention in class, you wouldn't be left behind in class to learn the right way of evolution," he says with a smirk on his face.
But little did he know I had this fight already won. "Okay then, what color were the apes?" I say while leaning back in my chair. "What?" he asked, turning around. " Oh, I'm sorry, did you forget your hearing aids? I said What color were the apes ? Because we have white people, African people, black people, so the apes had to be different colors, right? " I sit in silence, waiting for an answer. And then I'm in the principal's office, waiting for my mom to come and get me. But you may still be woundering did i win, and yes, I did.
