Adjustment Details

Changes have been made to some Pokémon stats and moves to adjust the balance of Unite Battles.

UNITE_Patch_RevivalStars_pt2_graphic.png

【Urshifu (Single Strike Style)】

Wicked Blow

  • Additional damage: 5%〜10% of opponents' missing HP → 7%〜14% of opponents' missing HP
    • ※No change to the damage cap against wild Pokémon.

Unite Move: Ebon Fist

  • Damage dealt when a shoved opposing Pokémon hits another opposing Pokémon: 50% increase

To emphasize its characteristic of dealing massive damage with a single strike, the damage of Wicked Blow has been increased. Additionally, the damage dealt when a shoved opposing Pokémon hits another opposing Pokémon during the Unite Move "Ebon Fist" has been increased, providing more tactical options beyond simply throwing the opposing Pokémon.

【Meowscarada】

Double Team

  • Distance the clone travels without searching: 2m → 4m
  • Clone search range: 10m → 5m

Night Slash

  • Damage: Subsequent hits on the same target 50% reduction → 30% reduction
  • HP recovery on basic attacks against marked opponents (1st / 2nd / 3rd+): 100% / 50% / 10% → 100% / 50% / 20%

Since the search range of the clones from "Double Team" was too wide, they often did not move as intended. The move has been adjusted to improve its usability when used to distance oneself from opponents. The damage of "Night Slash" when landing multiple hits and the recovery amount when hitting marked targets with basic attacks has been increased to re-evaluate the risk and reward of sticking close to opponents.

【Metagross】

Meteor Mash

  • Shield amount: 15% increase

Zen Headbutt

  • Damage: 10% increase

Gyro Ball

  • Damage: 10% increase

Unite Move: Compute and Crush

  • Effect added: Now grants hindrance resistance while using the move.

While Metagross showed great tenacity as an All-Rounder, its overall damage output was insufficient, failing to pose a consistent threat to opponents. To address this, its overall damage has been increased. Furthermore, hindrance resistance has been added to its Unite Move "Compute and Crush" to prevent it from being interrupted.

【Pikachu】

Electro Ball

  • Cooldown: 5.5s → 5s
  • Damage: 5% increase

Volt Tackle

  • Damage: 8% increase

Thunderbolt

  • Damage: 10% increase

Unite Move: Thunderstorm

  • Damage: 8% increase

Pikachu has been struggling to perform effectively due to a lack of damage as an Attacker. The damage of its moves overall has been increased to improve its presence in battle.

【Aegislash】

Iron Defense

  • Cooldown: 7s → 6s

Shadow Sneak

  • Cooldown: 6s → 5s
  • Damage: 10% increase

Aegislash’s performance from the early to mid-game was generally weak, often failing to overcome disadvantages even after evolving. The frequency and damage of its pre-evolution moves have been strengthened to ensure a more stable transition into its powerful evolved form.

【Duraludon】

Stats

  • HP: 3200〜5397 → 3200〜6000

Flash Cannon

  • Damage: 10% increase

Unite Move: Revolving Ruin

  • Energy requirement: 120000 → 100000

Duraludon had notably low HP compared to all other Pokémon. Its durability has been increased to better withstand ambushes and adjusted its move damage and frequency for better performance.

【Goodra】

Ability: Gooey

  • Cooldown after effect activation: 12s → 10s

Tackle

  • Cooldown: 10s → 8s

Muddy Water

  • Opponent's damage reduction rate: 15% → 20%

Unite Move: Right as Rain

  • Recovery amount: 15% increase

To better utilize its tenacity, its overall capabilities have been improved, allowing it to use tall grass for recovery more frequently and stay in the fight longer by lowering opponents' damage.

【Charizard】

Ability: Blaze

  • Critical hit rate increase when HP is at or below half: 20% → 30%

Unite Move: Seismic Slam

  • HP recovery during the move's duration: 80% of damage dealt by basic attacks → 60% of damage dealt by basic attacks

The explosive potential of its ability "Blaze" when HP is low has been enhanced to improve its ability to turn the tide of battle. Along with this, the HP recovery during its Unite Move has been adjusted to better balance its overall offensive and defensive capabilities.

【Typhlosion】

Eruption

  • Damage: 5% increase
  • Damage on the same target (1st / 2nd / 3rd+): 100% / 70% / 40% → 100% / 80% / 60%

Since its damage output was slightly lacking, often failing to finish off targets as an Attacker, the overall damage of "Eruption" has been increased.

【Articuno】

Ability: Snow Cloak

  • Movement speed reduction per stack: 15% → 12%

Blizzard

  • Damage: 12% decrease

Unite Move: Ice Wing Whiteout

  • Energy requirement: 80000 → 90000

Articuno's ability to deal massive damage while simultaneously providing strong hindrance to protect allies or create openings was too powerful. The movement speed reduction from its "Snow Cloak" ability and its move damage and frequency has been adjusted.

【Mega Charizard Y】

Ability: Blaze

  • Attack increase rate: 20% → 8%

Unite Move: Seismic Slam

  • HP recovery during the move's duration: 80% of damage dealt by basic attacks → 60% of damage dealt by basic attacks

Charizard Y’s ability to safely deal continuous damage while recovering and remaining immune to hindrances was too dominant. To ensure it can be taken down with focused attacks, the recovery from basic attacks during Mega Evolution has been lowered. The Attack increase from "Blaze" has also been lowered as it was too strong for an effect with no cooldown.

【Sirfetch'd】

Leaf Blade

  • Damage: 8% decrease

Detect

  • Cooldown: 8.5s → 9s
  • Shield amount: 23%~26% decrease

Brutal Swing

  • Damage: 15% increase

Its ability to grant itself large shields or invulnerability while frequently dealing high damage was too strong. The shield amount from "Detect" and the damage of "Leaf Blade" has been reduced. Conversely, the damage of "Brutal Swing" has been increased to provide a viable option for poking from a distance before diving in.

【Suicune】

Ice Beam

  • Damage: 8% decrease

Unite Move: Endless Ice Spikes

  • Damage: 8% decrease

Following a previous bug fix, "Ice Beam" began correctly applying cooldown reduction effects, resulting in higher damage than intended. Its damage output has been adjusted accordingly.

【Zapdos】

Discharge

  • Damage: 10% decrease

Unite Move: High-Voltage Siege

  • Energy requirement: 80000 → 90000

Zapdos’s early-game damage was notably high, allowing it to easily secure an early lead. The damage of "Discharge" has been reduced and the energy requirement for "High-Voltage Siege" has been increased due to its powerful goal-disabling effect.

【Inteleon】

Acrobatics

  • Cooldown: 6s → 6.5s

Liquidation

  • Damage: 5% decrease

Inteleon’s ability to consistently deal damage to targeted opponents while moving quickly and frequently was over-performing. The damage of "Liquidation" has been reduced, and the cooldown of "Acrobatics" has been extended.

【Dragapult】

Unite Move: Dreep and Destroy

  • Damage: 8% decrease

Following a previous bug fix, "Dreep and Destroy" began correctly applying cooldown reduction effects, leading to higher damage output than intended. Its damage has been adjusted downwards.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where Sirfetch'd would not correctly upgrade to "Leaf Blade+" if the move was upgraded at the exact moment the first hit of "Leaf Blade" landed.
  • Fixed a bug where Feraligatr's move cooldown for "Waterfall" was unintentionally reduced twice when hitting an opponent team Pokémon while its ability "Torrent" was active.
  • Fixed a bug where Feraligatr's dash direction for "Waterfall" would change toward an opponent Pokémon within range if a basic attack was triggered quickly after selecting the second stage of "Crunch" during the dash.
  • Fixed a bug where Feraligatr's "Waterfall" would not apply hindrance effects if it hit an opponent team Pokémon while the dash distance was below a certain threshold.
  • Fixed a bug where activating Feraligatr's Unite Move "Big Jaw Bite" during the dash from "Waterfall" would cause the subsequent "Crunch" to activate simultaneously with the Unite Move.
  • Fixed a bug where the tooth icon would remain displayed if Feraligatr hit a Boss Pokémon with "Clamping Fangs" and then followed up with "Destructive Fang" or "Gluttonous Fangs".
  • Fixed a bug where activating the second stage of Feraligatr's Unite Move "Big Jaw Bite" against a distant opponent team Pokémon just as the first stage's effect was ending would cause the first stage to activate again.
  • Fixed a bug where Typhlosion's "Flame Wheel" would trigger Duraludon's ability "Heavy Metal" upon landing the first hit.
