Pokemon Champions: Move Roost

I wondering if a flying type used roost. Should ground attack hit them? If it does, I think I found a bug.

If a flying type Pokemon uses Roost, it loses the flying type (at least for that turn). So a ground type move, would, yes, hit them.

A ground attack would hit the user, and it isn't a bug. Here are a few examples:

Dual type effects - If Corviknight (Steel/Flying) uses Roost, it will lose its flying type for the rest of that turn. Assuming the opponent is slower than Corviknight and uses a Ground-type move (let's say Garchomp uses Earthquake), Corviknight would take super-effective damage that turn, because it is now mono-steel.

Mono Flying effects - If Tornadus (Flying) uses Roost, it will, as usual, lose its flying type for the rest of the turn. Let's use a similar scenario as the Corviknight example where Rhyperior (slower than Tornadus) uses High Horsepower on the Tornadus. Since the Tornadus, a mono-flying pokemon, used Roost, it is considered typeless. It takes neutral damage to all attacks, including Rhyperior's High Horsepower.
