When Primal groudon stets extreme sun does walking wake's hydro steam evaporate or get even stronger

Primal Groudon can use its ability desolate land to make extreme sun which nullifies all water type moves, Walking Wake knows Hydro steam a water type move that gets stronger if the sun is out instead of weaker, scince hydro steam is a water type attack does this steam evaporate or not, maybe it gets even stronger like if normal sun boosts the steam does extreme sun boost it even more?

Obviously there's no way to test this in an actual game, but my thought is that Hydro Steam would evaporate. The effect of harsh sunlight on Water moves and that of extreme sun are two different effects even though their concepts are the same. If current coding were put into place, Hydro Steam by virtue of being a Water move would be nullified since it's only, as far as I know, programmed to bypass regular sunlight.

It could of course end up being coded differently, but that's my guess.
