Expand Pokémon Sleep's sync function to Garmin, Huawei, and other watch brands
Hi. I'm a long time Pokémon Sleep player, and I enjoy the game like many others. At this point not as much as a sleep tracker but just a funny game to spend some time on.
One of the functions I appreciate the most, like the title says, is the sync function. I was worried about the degradation of my phone battery's overall lifetime, and getting the task of logging data to a wearable designed to do just that with more precise metrics is exactly what I was hoping I could do in Pokémon Sleep. It also keeps me accountable, as "cheating" my actual wake time is pretty much impossible to do on a smart watch that measures my pulse and movements.
That said, I do wonder if it's in the developers' plans to accept Health Connect data from other brands aside from Samsung and Apple, like Garmin or Huawei. I can't use all of Samsung's features unless I have their phones, so I'm looking for other options and Garmin looks attractive, but now Pokémon Sleep has become an obstacle to the switch. My phone's battery has already lost a good chunk of capacity, but if I have to sacrifice a better watch in exchange for not playing Pokémon Sleep, then I likely will. Hopefully it's not the case soon.
