Meganium gets Fairy Typing… albeit in its Mega form but Ninetales does not? I call shenanigans… Anyways… from the current crop of Mega's… I'm going to give Dragonite some love. Design wise it could be better but turns what was once a traditional Physical hitter into a pretty respectable Special Attacker with a Speed Stat boost too. No idea what its ability is(that goes for all of them so far with respect to concrete info) but if its multiscale or something solid, then it should be able to do rather well.

Hm they were all decent but the old megas were way better. I guess I will go with excadrill.

Honestly, I think what makes the new Megas worst is that there are some I genuinely dislike

With the old Megas there are some I don't like, but not as many as with the new ones

They didn't change how they did it, though, so I don't know why that is

Most of the previous megas seemed like cool Pokémon before they megaed but most of the new ones really weren’t cool before and so they weren’t cool after mega evolution. That is what I think the difference is.
