Thanks for the update.
The biggest thing I hear people ask for, and saw no mention of in your post, was for the leaderboard of Arceus League to be public either in game or on the website. Having the MMR is nice, but it doesn't mean too much when you have to ask around to see how many players are above you.

Suggestions for Battle Pass, Tournaments, and Reward Improvements
Hi team, I’d like to share some feedback and suggestions that I think could make Pokémon TCG Live even more engaging:
- Bring Back 8-Player Tournaments:
From PTCGO, the 8-player tournament format was a fun way to compete and earn rewards.- Example: spend 10 tokens to enter → finalists get 5 tokens back → winners get all 10 tokens back + additional rewards (packs, trainer points or crystals).
- Entry tokens could be part of the Battle Pass rewards. (could be 250 or 500).
- Standard format could be permanent, with other formats rotated in cycles.
- Battle Pass Pacing:
The current Battle Pass feels too short/easy to complete (many players finish in 2-3 weeks). Once it’s done, the rest of the season feels empty.- Suggestion: refresh/reset the Battle Pass alongside the rank ladder to keep progression meaningful throughout the season.
- Pack Opening Experience:
Opening packs is one of the most exciting parts of the game, but the current animations feel underwhelming. Adding more dynamic visuals—especially when pulling rare cards—would make the experience more rewarding.
And Maybe this
- Unused Cards → Small Credit Return:It would be great to have a way to “uncredit” or recycle cards we no longer use. Even a small return (e.g., 10 credits) would give players more flexibility in building new decks.
I really appreciate the effort you’ve put into communication and updates.
Happy hunting in 2026 — gotta catch ’em all!
Thanks again for listening to the community.0 - Bring Back 8-Player Tournaments:

I really think tournaments solve one of the biggest challenges for competitive TCG players. Most of us are always looking for strong, meaningful competition. Sure, there are online ladders and casual games, but many players there are just experimenting or playing for fun, without much focus on winning.
Tournaments, on the other hand, bring out the best in everyone. Players show up with their strongest decks, they put real effort into every match, and the games feel much more intense and rewarding. It’s in that environment where competitive players really thrive, because every decision matters and every match pushes you to improve.
That’s why I feel tournaments—whether online or in person—are such an important part of the community. They don’t just give us a place to play; they give us a chance to test ourselves, grow, and really enjoy the game at a higher level.

As long as you allow players' accounts to log into pirated servers for even a single day, don't claim to take the game seriously.

Hi TPCI. It is great to see that you are interacting with the community and I thank you for everything you have done so far to make TCG Live better! I would like to share my thoughts on what changes could be made to TCG Live to improve the playing experience.
- Expanded Format with Black and White and XY card support: It would give older collections and more seasoned players real value and bring tons of creativity and allow formats like Expanded and Gym Leader Challenge(GLC) to be played in their true form rather than just being Sun and Moon forward. The foundations are there. Even an official roadmap/statement would go a long way.
2. Tournament style play: Swiss rounds or even official in-client tournaments would prepare players for real events and make competitive play more exciting(Similar to PTCGL's predecessor PTCGO)
3. Expanded Format Ranked Ladder: Expanded doesn't have the luxury that standard does in the sense of a ranked ladder to grind for. This would be great to see.
4. Expanded Friend Battles: Again another luxury that standard format has but expanded does not. This would be great to see
I hope that my suggestions along with others in this discussion can be made possible or even discussed within your team. Thanks once again for trying to improve TCG Live and interacting with the community!
