What someone I know said;
Lilicove was am impression on first listen. The whirlpool... like a caught in a rotation feeling of a city theme.
The tempo increase was fun on flute but there didn't seem to be a solo.
Battle trozei is cinematic but not for a game. Energetic.
Ranger is triangle interesting but there is a flute solo. The trumpet or trombone adds another element and ends on a flute.
The energetic TCG(original Gameboy color) music is synthetic music. Pure Video Game Music.

I thought Trozei was like a meme of: a choice has been made.
Poké park flute the synthetic triangle steals the show.
Tim dim sum simis trio sounds like the Luigi's Mansion 2 of Pokémon songs.
Lilycove is the whirlpool blocked city so what my aquantence said without knowing it is: interesting how a nuance can be synonymous with sounds.
