They are either leading with a Z-A trailer or ending with it. It's what everyone wants to see. I sure hope it shows gameplay.

There will also be the usual updates and trailers for all the mobile apps. TCG Pocket might get special focus given its success.

I think it may be too early for a reveal of their next project, be that something gen 5 related (remake or sequel) or gen 10. But if there is anything, it will probably be a surprise reveal towards the end of the Presents.

But honestly I think Z-A news will be enough of a headline. And it would be really concerning if they are planning to pump out a new game next year. I would feel as though no lessons had been learned and Pokémon is simply going to return to the same old patterns we saw before this reprieve.

Maybe it would be okay if another company had been working on a gen 5 remake in parallel, but then I fear it would be another BDSP.

If we get a unova remake, i am betting on it being made by illca (the same people who ruined sinnoh)

Well isn't a remake of bw as a switch port like bdsp good? Because what if you don't own a DS or have some budget issues? Or if you like 3D games more than 2D? Or if you think emulators are too risky (trust me I got into a fight with someone because I use emulators)?

I’m pretty sure this is a very unpopular opinion, but I think BDSP was decent. It provided a way for me to play Gen 4 without needing a very expensive copy of Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum. Plus I spent hours perfecting my poffin making skills and entering my Pokemon in contests to earn ribbons. For someone who had never played Gen 4, it was really fun.

Same! Brilliant Diamond is fun, I haven't played any of the original G4 games too.

I honestly am the type who would prefer to go and try to get my hands on copies of older titles since there really is no guarantee of them getting remade or getting put on the online library, more recently got my hands on a copy of pokemon ranger guardian signs and currently playing through the main story and so far I have been enjoying it (though its at least 5x easier than the original ranger)

It's ok if you're not comparing it to the games it's supposed to be a remake of or previous Pokémon remakes. A lot of great features were removed, like Secret Bases and the ability to transfer Pokémon without needing something like Bank or Home. And it's a remake of, in my opinion, two of the most boring mainline games, without adding anything from Platinum, the much better version of them.

It's also the worst of all the remakes in Pokémon, it doesn't improve anything from the original game. The only things it adds is a forced Exp. Share, the Fairy type, and making Cynthia's battle more difficult (and also different clothes). It doesn't even let you use Pokémon made after gen 4 (so no Sylveon), when all the previous remakes let you use newer Pokémon or even made them catchable in the game.

Honestly, when it was just released, it was pretty fun because of all the fun glitches it had, but they removed them all.
