Pokémon V-Union used to be the "bosses" in Sword & Shield series as they have very powerful attacks. However, they are hard to play.

1. General information

• A Pokémon V-Union always have 4 attacks, including:

(Colorless) Union Gain

Attach up to 2 (this Pokémon's type) Energy cards from your discard pile to this Pokémon.

• Currently, there are only 5 Pokémon V-Union in general. There are Pikachu V-Union, Mewtwo V-Union, Greninja V-Union, Zacian V-Union and Morpeko V-Union (which has 2 different illustration variants).
• 300 HP (or more) is the number of HP for each Pokémon V-Union.
• 3 of them doesn't have any Abilities, but Mewtwo V-Union has 1 Ability, and Greninja V-Union has 3 Abilities.
• Here's how to play a Pokémon V-Union:

Once per game during your turn (before your attack), combine 4 different (Name) V-Union from your discard pile and put them onto your Bench.

I don’t think that V-Unions used to be the “Bosses”; only Mewtwo ever saw any competitive play, and even then it ended up being the less preferred version of Gardevoir. 🤷‍♂️ But I remember them.

I was never able to figure out how the V-Unions worked. Can you play the four cards as individual cards? I'm probably the only one but they were always confusing to me
