Is regionals worth the price?

    If you win it is. But I’d say the experience is worth it even if you 0-3 drop as long as you’re in a decent financial position. But it also depends on how far you have to go, how much it actually costs, etc.

    Yeah I would agree that the experience is worth it. I went to one in October and even though I only won one match, I still had a great time with friends. There was several vendors there, selling different Pokemon cards and plushes, as well as a prize table with other goodies too. You can buy a spectator pass if you're not wanting to compete too, I think they're around $20.

    Thank you for your comment, and I will take that into consideration in deciding whether to go or not. It would cost me $70 to enter.

    @Mrgrimacecheese you’re welcome! It’s also handy to keep in mind all the other costs, like if you’re staying in the area overnight it can be costly, but you might not need to.
